MeMe Yoshida is a typical pleasant and good natured 15 year old girl, born in Japan. As a 15 year old, MeMe is at the childhood age of discovery, learning of her likes, dislikes, emotions, self, and others. She is inquisitive, thoughtful, and, having a soft spot for fashion, she is edgy and cool. Through her transition from childhood to adulthood, MeMe uncovers her inner strength and supernatural gift to influence her and other people's emotions. MeMe begins to learn that her decisions, behavior, perspectives, and attitudes impact others and not just herself.
Discovering the Emotionals and consequently, through that encounter, MeMe (and her friends) come to understand the power and deception of emotions. MeMe closely interacts with the Emotionals who share her private world and learns much about herself and the world around her.
