Ling is MeMe’s closest friend. Having come from China not all that long ago, she can empathize with MeMe’s struggles and excitements over moving to the U.S. and is a very supportive friend. Ling is studious and quiet with modest tastes, but has a silly side that only comes out in private with her closest friends. Since she is such a kind and gentle person, everyone has a general admiration for her.
